The film scripted by the Kanteerava Studio’s former chief Vijayalakshmi Urs is directed by “Madesh.” Besides scripting, Vijayalakshmi is producing the film on a large scale. While launching the film, the team didn’t title the film. Now, it has been titled as Uppi Rupee. Rachita Ram plays the lady love of Upendra. Sadhu Kokila composes the music and Rajesh Katta cranks the camera. Besides this film, Upendra has been performing in Matte Hutti Banda Upendra, Inti Prema. This is the official remake of Soggade Chinni Nayana featuring Ramya Krishnan and Akkineni Nagarjuna.
