Karnataka assembly polls were held recently and the results were announced yesterday. Neither Congress nor the BJP got the required minimum to form the government. Following this, Congress offered JDS led by
HD Kumaraswamy
to ally with them and they will just take part in the rule and Kumaraswamy could be the CM. JDS accepted this offer and had approached the governor. The twist in this is that in Today’s JDS meeting, two MLAs from JDS, Venkatappa Nayaka and Venkata Rao are missing. Meanwhile, BJP leader Yeddyurappa requested the governor to provide time to form the government and they would prove their majority. While the Congress and JDS are planning to form an allied government, BJP tries to set up a government by requesting the governor. What will happen? We have to wait and watch!
