Sanchita As An RJ!

Sanchita Shetty, the glamorous beauty made her debut in Sandalwood as an RJ in the film “Badmaash” with “Dhananjay.” In this movie, she plays a Kannada passionate. Besides working as an RJ, she would be teaching Kannada to the Non-Kannada people. Akash Srivatsa, the director of the film, was quoted saying, "This idea was born many years ago when I used to run a sparkler of a show on the radio about our city. It was a program called Why Like This Kanta. One of the most popular sparkler episodes in those series had to do with the Kannada speaking population in our city. Ironically, even those who know how to speak the language sometimes refrain from speaking it, so what happens to all the non-Kannadigas who come in to stay here in the city. I often wondered why nobody has thought of opening language centers here where one can come in to learn how to speak Kannada. We have used that very idea in Badmaash, where Sanchita plays Priya, a girl who is out to teach Kannada to every non-Kannadiga, and this includes foreigners.”
