Aindrita Ray is among the popular heroines in Kannada, who never hide back her feelings. During the press meet of “Niruttara” directed by Apoorva Kasaravalli and produced by Bhavana, Aindrita openly stated about the remuneration issues. She stated that since her debut, she didn’t get a considerable hike in her remuneration. She also said that the actresses are paid just a 5% of what the actors are being paid. Aindrita added that although she was offered with good roles, she has to turn down the films due to a low remuneration. Although the remuneration of heroes and heroines in other states are not equal, the difference in Kannada film industry is vast, says Aindrita.
