Google Celebrates Dr.Rajkumar’s Birthday!

Today is the 88th birth anniversary of Varanataka “Dr.Rajkumar.” Google India has doodled Dr.Rajkumar’s image and is celebrating his birth anniversary. It is a pride moment, isn't it! The legendary actor, who was born in the year 1929 as Singanalluru Puttaswamayya Muthuraju at Gajanur, is known by his stage name Rajkumar. Started his cinema career through, Bedara Kannappa in 1954, Rajkumar had dedicated his entire life to Kannada film industry. He is the first hero to perform in 200+ films in Kannada film industry. Rajkumar’s 208th film was “Shabdavedhi” directed by “S Narayan.” It was released in 2000, which marked as the last film of the legend. Besides being an actor, he had sung nearly 300 songs in his career. Anil Kumble, the legendary cricketer, posted on his Twitter, “Remembering Dr. Rajkumar on his birth anniversary! #legend!”
