, made her film debut, a year ago. Her debut film, Harikatha Prasanga is the first Kannada movie that made it to the International Film Festival in Busan. The script speaks about a Yakshagana artist named Hari. Hari is popular for his female roles on the stage and the gender identity adversity has created a buzz. “Shrunga,” who is famous in Paraari has played Hari. The director says that the film has got a good opening at the Busan Film Festival, as the script is dealt in a serious tone. Ananya says that when she specially premiered it to her father, he was excited and praised his daughter for her effort in her debut.
