, the talented actress, has been playing in “Manikarnika.” The shooting has been going at a quick pace in Bikaner. During the shooting in the Bikaner Fort, Kangana met Padma Kumari, The Maharani of Bikaner and sought blessings from her. In Manikarnika, Kangana plays Rani Laxmi Bai. She was caught in the camera in two different getups, during the shooting. In one getup she was looking simple in a traditional Sari but with some precious ornaments and in another get up she was seen wearing posh ornaments and looked modern too. It is reported that the actress will be seen in Khadi clothes and the clothes are sponsored by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). Recently, the film attracted controversy like that of “Padmaavat.” Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha stated that the film has a controversial romantic side of the queen with a British agent. But, the makers denied the rumors. We have to wait and watch if it attracts controversy! The film is directed by Krish and the ‘Baahubali’ scriptwriter “K V Vijayendra Prasad,” has penned the story.
