History Rewritten By ‘Stree 2!’

‘Stree 2’ is out to achieve what no other Hindi film has ever done.

This collection is phenomenal, given the fact that Stree 2 was made on a modest budget of 50 crores. Some websites say that Jawan is the highest grossing Hindi movie of all time, with a net collection of 640 crores plus.

However, the collections don’t exclude the revenue from its Tamil and Telugu versions. The net domestic collection from only the Hindi version amounts to slightly above 582 crores, significantly lower than ‘Stree 2’.

Besides, ‘Stree 2’ and its collections are much better than ‘Jawan’ in two aspects. One, the difference between their budget is vast: Jawan was made on a huge budget of 370 crores, while ‘Stree 2’ was made on a budget of 50 crores.
