According to the filmmaker himself, the Maddock Universe won’t be just limited to horror comedy. Vijan is expanding to promote two cinematic words simultaneously.

One will contain stories from the iconic Arabian Nights, which has been popular in the Indian folklore as well. Some of the stories that will be promoted through this franchise are Sinbad the Sailor, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, and Aladdin and the Magical Lamp.

However, that is not all. Dinesh Vijan will also be promoting the 7 Chiranjeevis from the Indian culture with the other Cinematic Universe. Maddock Films had made their first attempt at a cinematic universe in 2022, when they connected Bhediya with their sleeper hit Stree, which had released in 2018. Though it didn’t deliver them instant results, the surprise success of Munjya in 2024 inspired them to launch the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, which was further boosted by the blockbuster success of Stree 2.
