Mohammed Rafi was born near Amritsar in 1924. He made his debut as a singer in 1941, before he switched to Hindi cinema in 1945. Despite the Partition, Rafi was one of the few notable artists who chose to stay back in India, instead of migrating to Pakistan.

Mohammed Rafi sung almost 7000 songs in his nearly four decade long career. He passed away at the age  of 55 in Bombay [now Mumbai].

Umesh Shukla has not seen a proper success since the last seven years. He made his directorial debut with the spoof comedy Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge in 2009. However, it was with OMG – Oh My God that he shot to fame in 2012. Umesh Shukla went on to create another classic – 102 Not Out, which was also a considerable success at the box office. He is awaiting the release of Heer Express, which will release on August 8.
