Details of the much hyped upcoming visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to India have been revealed.

will have a formal visit to the country from April 10th to 16th, which also includes a day in Bhutan.
The itinerary of the tour, which is being undertaken at the request of the David Cameron government, includes a visit to the iconic lovers’ benches in front of the Taj Mahal, a tribute to the victims of 26/11, a meeting with a ‘senior political leader’ in New Delhi, a tribute to the martyrs of World War I at India gate, a Bollywood charity event in Mumbai, A visit to the old Birla house and watching a cricket match at Oval Maidan.
They might also visit Assam during the time they will be here.This trip is said to be the ‘beginning of a personal relationship’ with India in the 21st century. This will be the couple’s first tour to the country and has been very rightly timed as the Queen’s 90th birthday is coming up
