While this came as a complete shocker to the fans, they also sympathized with him. It was not the first time when Perry spoke about his struggles with drugs and alcohol. Of course, addiction is not as small as the word sounds.
In 2013, after being to rehab twice, he then transformed his home into a facility for sober living and called it the Perry House.
