However, success doesn’t come without a pinch of failures. Even though he has given several blockbusters, we couldn’t count his few movies in the hit list. Here are the Top 10 flop movies of Allu Arjun that didn’t receive much love from the critics.

1. Gangotri (2003)

Gangotri was the first film of Allu Arjun in the Telugu film industry under the direction of K. Raghavendra Rao. He won several awards for his performance in the movie. However, there were negative parts of the film which people didn’t like. Movie’s pace was criticized for being slow after the interval. The plot appeared to be written poorly in certain places. The punch of the comedy was utterly missing from the movie. Yet, people loved the songs and said they were entertaining to hear.

2. Happy (2006)

Happy was a controversial movie for Allu Arjun to write about. After thorough research, Happy was a box office flop but got the average reviews in Kerala. A. Karunakaran directed the film. Allu Arjun and Genelia D’Souza are in the lead roles. The chemistry between the lead roles was fascinating to watch. However, the film got criticized for its too-simple script. The performance of Allu Arjun received mixed reviews from critics.

3. Arya 2 (2009)

Arya 2 is the sequel to the film Arya, released in 2004. The first movie was a blockbuster hit, but the sequel was just average, both directed by Sukumar. The film contains numerous negative reviews when compared with each other. Many people criticized that the movie wasn’t up to the expectations and proved to be a disappointment. The role of Allu Arjun was good, and the comedy was said to be a little forced. After the interval the film was much better yet, it didn’t make the movie any better.

4. Varudu (2010)

Varudu is a Telugu movie released in 2010 and directed by Gunashekhar. The film was based on the love at first sight between Allu Arjun and Bhanu Sri Mehta, packed with revenge, romance, and comedy. The movie received highly critical views and was termed a disaster at the box office. There were many negative reviews for the film for being overly dramatic. The storyline had mistakes in it. Only 62% of people liked the movie, according to Google reviews.

5. Badrinath (2011)

Badrinath released in 2011 with action and romance in it. The film was about a samurai from the Badrinath temple falling in love with women who does not believe in god. The film also released in Malayalam with a budget of 42 crore. The film was below average, as many people criticized the movie’s story. Many people couldn’t find the love story exciting and said the film has mistakes. The film was certified A because of the gruesome violence and fight between hero and villain.

6. Iddarammayilatho (2013)

Iddarammayilatho, or The Two Girls, is directed by Puri Jagannath. The film was released in 2013 in the Telugu cinema industry. Although the movie wasn’t a flop, it appeared below average and received mixed reviews. The scripted scenes were not up to the mark and lacked the usual logic. Allu Arjun and Amala Paul’s performances were visually appealing to watch. However, there was little to no character development in the film.

10. Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India (2018)

Allu Arjun’s character, Surya, appears to be a short-tempered soldier with anger issues in the film. He has to get a sign from his father in 21 days to remain in the army. Allu Arjun’s acting as a soldier was appreciated widely by the audience, but the story appeared poorly written. There was no character development between the lead hero and his father. The love story had no logic. The action scenes were good, yet the movie had many negative aspects.
