3. Calcutta 71

The film Calcutta 71 is about the four stories that comprise the collection of short stories. Each focus on a different part of society. In the first story, a family from the lower middle class in a slum is forced to leave their cottage and go to another safe place. In the second story, a middle-class family has low food and hardship. This makes them go into prostitution. The third story is about a middle-class family. They are from the village. Here the eldest son leaves his studies. He makes fun of the rich people.
