Surya Pavan Charan is a Playback Singer and solo violinist in the Telugu Film Industry. He was born on 4th April 1988 in Vizianagaram. Surya‘s father’s name is Mr. B.A. Narayana and his mother’s name is Mrs. B. Padmavati. He completed his 6-year Diploma in Vocal and Violin at M. R. Government Musical Dance College, Vizianagaram. Surya completed his Teacher training course from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. After that, he pursued M.A. in Music at Telugu University, Hyderabad.
He has taken Vocal training under his father Sri B.A. Narayana. He has taken Violin lessons under, Sri. Ch. Sanyasi Rao at M.R.Government Music College, Vizianagaram. He has also won a gold medal in the state-level of Annamacharya songs competition. He was the Second runner-up in the prestigious Zee Telugu Sarigamapa. He has also won 1st prize in vocal and violin music for two years in Sangeetha Kalasamithi, Visakhapatnam.
