Srikrishna Vishnubhotla

Srikrishna Vishnubhotla is a playback singer who has worked in all south Indian languages. Srikrishna Vishnubhotla was born on 17th August 1983 to Chandramohan Vishnubhotla and Venkata Padmavathi Vishnubhotla. Born in Hyderabad, Srikrishna grew up in Vijayawada with his younger brother. His inclination towards music and singing started quite early in life. Though he didn't have any musical connections, Srikrishna's inborn talent spoke for himself. Under the tutelage of Smt. Annapurna and Sree N.C. Bucchayacharlu, Srikrishna, developed singing skills. Srikrishna did part of his schooling in Ramakrishna Vidyalaya and later joined Bharath Vikas Parishad and Ideal Public School.

In his school days, he enthusiastically took part in several music competitions in and around Andhra Pradesh and returned home with several awards. One such award is the gold medal he won from the national level devotional competition conducted by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams. After completing his school studies, he enrolled in PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science to pursue his Bachelor's degree. He finished his Master's degree from Sarada College in Vijayawada. Srikrishna Vishnubhotla is happily married to Sruthi Krishna, and the couple has a daughter.

Srikrishna Vishnubhotla's journey started as a child anchor for a children's show on All India Radio. Years later, he worked as a Radio Jockey in 93.5 Red FM.

Later, he participated in the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and suffered an early exit from the show as he lacked cinema knowledge. He returned to television again with the show S.P. Balasubramanyam’s PadalaniUndi on Maa TV. After making it through the auditions, Srikrishna became a strong contender for the title. As expected, he bagged the winning title of the competition. Following the success, he took part in the Kannada singing show Ede Thumbi Haaduvenu hosted by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. Even without knowing the language, he stood as the show's winner. Since then, he has mentored various music shows, including Idea Super Singer on Maa TV.

Srikrishna made his debut as a playback singer in 2004 with a song in the film Gopi composed by SreeKoti. The music director SreeKoti gave him his major break. Srikrishna has sung for almost all the famous directors in Tollywood and even sung songs in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
