ML Gayathri was born on the 3rd of July in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. She is a dubbing artist, singer, playback singer, Anchor and also an actor. She pursued a diploma in light music at PottiSreeramulu Telugu University. She came from a musical background. Gayathri's sister Shruthi was also a singer. Gayathri worked as a dubbing artist in nearly 35 movies till 2022. She started her career as a dubbing artist in life is a beautiful movie. She also acted in Anamika as a friend of Nayanthara, Manamantha as a teacher and played minor roles in many other films.
She was officially a playback singer since she was ten years and worked as an assistant director in PaadalaniUndi, a TV program. Singers Lipsika, Sruthi, Sravya and Gayathri formed a girl band named 'Rag and Roll' and uploaded songs from that band on YouTube.
