Kalyan Vasanth

Kalyan Vasanth, a vocalist and veena player from Hyderabad, is a B-High Graded AIR creator in Classical Music and A-Grade artist in Light Music Vocal. As Kalyan was born into a family of musicians and music lovers, his musical journey started at the age of five, when most people would just be forming coherent sentences. He started training under his mother later and continued for the next few years till 1998 when he took part in his first reality show Paadutha Theeyaga as an 8-year-old. Kalyan took part in various Carnatic events by Kalasagaram, SICA, and more, securing a podium finish in most contests, after which he started concerts. Kalyan is one of the famous faces in the Telugu Music and TV industry.

He is known for performing in the Aakashvani Sangeet Sammelan program, which got nationally broadcasted on All India Radio. In 2016, Kalyan was also awarded Senior Scholarship in Carnatic classical vocals by CCRT. He has also won many prizes and awards from notable cultural organizations. Kalyan is also a popular personality on YouTube. His version of the popular song Inkem Inkem Kavale has over 3 lakh views on YouTube. Further, a music company took it up and published it on their channel, as they loved Kalyan’s version. He has also worked as an Assistant Director with Rajamouli for Bahubali.
