Gayatri Narayan is an Indian playback singer who primarily works in the Telugu film industry. She has worked across five languages and has sung more than 10000 songs. Narayanan remains one of the most prominent voices in Carnatic music and has frequently collaborated with musical veterans such as SP Bala Gopalaswamy. She has mainly sung devotional music during her career. She gained her breakthrough through the song Ramachakkani Seethaki from the 2006 Telegu film Godavari. She has worked in the industry for more than 20 years and remains active. She continues to perform in stage shows and other musical events. She also actively trains young singers in Carnatic music.
