Raghava is an Indian-origin producer who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. On 9th December 1913, he was born in East Godavari District, Kotipalli Village. His early life was not as pleasant as it should be because he ran away from home when he was eight. And he joined the British-ruled East India Company as a trolley puller. He worked in the film Prahlada as a Trolley boy, his first film. Then, he worked as an assistant to producer Motilal Chamria. He also worked as a stunt master in Bhairavi and Raju Paodhi films. M.G.M Studios were looking for a production manager who knew different languages. And, for the English film Tarzana Goes India, he was appointed as a Production Manager.

He also got a chance to visit Rome for production purposes. Raghava received 20000 dollars for his first production job. After exploring Rome and watching English filmmaking, he thought of producing his films. And for that, he set up his production house named Falguna House and two other partners, Ekambareswara Rao and Suryachandra. They made their first film together called Jagat Kinabalu. Their film was a big success and received a positive response. Then, they produced more films like Jagat Jetties and Jagat Gentry.

After a few years, he established another production company called Pratap Raj Productions. He also introduced several newcomers in his company as directors like Kodi Ramakrishnan, Rajashree, Guhanathan, and K.Aditya. Raghava married MK Radha's younger sister Hamsarani. They had two children together. On July 31, 2018, Raghava died in Hyderabad at 105.
