Dr Naramalli Sivaprasad was an Indian actor who then turned Politician. He was born on 11 July 1951 in Village Pultipalli, District Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, and died on 21 September 2019 in Apollo Hospital, Chennai. His Father’s name is Shri Nagaiah. His mother’s name is Smt Chengamma. He graduated from the SV Medical College, Tirupati, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. He had done MBBS. He was married to Smt. Ralavijaylakshmi (1972-2019)- and has two daughters. Naramalli Sivaprasad acted in many movies like Danger (2005), Khaidi (1983), Tulasi (2007), Aatadista (2008), Drona (2009),
(2016), Saptagiri LLB (2017),
(2019), and many more. He was honored with the Nandi Award for the best villain for his movie Danger (2005). From 1999-2004, he was an Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly member.
In 2009, he was elected as the 15h Lok Sabha member of the Chittoor constituency, Andhra Pradesh. In 2014, he was re-elected to the 16th Lok Sabha. He belonged to Telugu Desam Party. He also started protesting to demand special status for Andhra Pradesh by dressing up as
. To protest the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state, he had been dressing up differently. Among all the MPs, he was also suspended for protesting in the Indian Parliament against the state's bifurcation. Naramalli Sivaprasad is also known as a stage and cinema artist and director. He oversaw the Cultural Programme of the AP Assembly, and he was also interested in Public Awareness Programmes, Theatre Arts, and many more.
