Sreemukhi, who discontinued her Dental Surgery course, stepped into the TV industry after an excellent opportunity knocked at her door. After getting the consent of her father, who initially showed no interest in making his daughter, a TV star, Sreemukhi started her career.

In 2012, Sreemukhi made her debut as a silver screen star in “Julayi.” Although it was a sister role, she feels happy to share the screen space with Allu Arjun. In 2015, she made her entry into Tamil film industry. She performed in Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai with “Sathya.” The film had a delayed released in 2016.
