Before shifting to Hyderabad, she took her studies at Karimnagar until Class III and later attended Satavahana High School until Class X. Parnika pursued her MEC at Sri Chaitanya Junior College and even though she hardly attends to her class, she graduated from MNR Degree College in Hyderabad.

She started to learn music during Class III. Later, Parnika was trained by Ramachary Sir in Hyderabad. During college, her teachers would threaten her that she would be detained in class if she failed to attend to it. However, their impression about her has changed after she was featured in top 5 rankers in college.  When her teachers learned about her singing career, they have understood that it was the cause of her irregularity in class. Eventually, she became a person who tends to balance school with her career. Parnika also studied music at Little Musicians Academy.  

In the span of four years, she has worked in more than 50 films including Parare (2008), Brahmanandam Drama Company (2008), Telugammayi (2011), Bodyguard (2012), Denikaina Ready (2012), Greeku Veerudu Click to look into! >> Read More... (2013), and many more. She is currently working in S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming epic historical fiction film, Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Since childhood, Parnika always had the desire to establish herself as a singer. Apart from that, she also wants to create a video song, and so recently, she releases her first solo video entitled Aigiri Nandini (The Power of Women). The song has a Telugu rap with a touch of English lyrics, which became a huge success. Parnika also made several guest performances on many television live shows. Recently, she appeared on ETV’s game show, Cash, together with Noel Sean, Pranavi, and Sreeram Chandra. She collaborated with India’s leading directors and would love to work with Koti Garu in the future.

Parnika got engaged to Nikhil on December 30, 2012 and the couple got married on June 24, 2013.
