Kanika Dhillon

Kanika Dhillon, an Indian writer. She writes scripts for films, novels and also books for children. Her debut novel, “Bombay Duck, is a Fish” was printed in 2011. She was born in Amritsar. In Bollywood, she works as a dialogue writer for Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. She worked in the movie Ra. One. She also worked as an assistant Farah Khan on “Om Shanti Om”. She script supervised on “Billu Barber”. In August 2014, she was married to Prakash Kovelamudi. He was the son of director K. Raghavendra Rao. She has written the story of Size Zero to be made into Hindi film, but her husband liked it so much that he did it in Telugu.

When Kanika was working for Shahrukh Red Chilli Entertainment, she came up with the idea of writing a book. She had written for Ra.One and Billu Barber. Her first book was out before her first film. As a movie set is full of stories, actors, it was very easy and convenient for her to do so. All the atmosphere around her would be creative, and everything could be captured in her book. She learned script writing for five years and went to Balaji Telefilms and became a content creator and did Ishaan for Disney which became a big hit and a second season is also being planned. She likes to write for children, read and encourages them to pursue their dreams.
