Vanakalya Satyanarayana was an Indian theatre artist and film actor. Satyanarayana was born in the year 1940 in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He has acted as a character actor in more than 180 movies including Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. During his graduation days, he was a gold medallist in studies. He was also an all-rounder as he was exceptional at sports. He won the first position in L. Roberts International Shooting Competition and second spot at the international level. He secured a rewarding post in the company Hindustan Shipyard. He filled the job of a clerk initially at the company and later, he took retirement as the Company Secretary of the firm. Even though he had a lucrative job, he gave up his job and chose to pursue a career in the world of Cinema. He completed his study in theatre performance in the Andhra University. K. Venkateswara Rao, a renowned stage personality guided him in his program at the Andhra University.

He acted in plays and skits including Asura Sandhya, Triveni, Kodukuputtala, Otunna PrajalakuKoti Dandalu, Mnasunna Manishi, and Asaya Vardhate. He made his debut on the big screen of Telugu Cinema with the move Needaleni Aadadhi (1974). After that, he made appearances in various movies including Sagara Sangamam (A Telugu Dance Musical film directed by K. Vishwanath), Srinivasa Kalyanam, Subhalekha(A Telugu comedy-drama movie produced by Allu Aravind and V.V. Sastry) Some other movies in which he acted include Suthradarulu (A Classic Telugu feature film about a boy who fights for justice in his village), Donga Kollu (A Telugu comedy film), Ooriki Ichina Maata (A drama film in Telugu written by M. Balaiah, and Vijetha (A Telugu movie starring Chiranjeevi). Apart from this, he has acted in various TV serials and daily soaps. He rose to fame only after his famous role as a station master in the TV series Seethamaalakshmi.

The series got released in the year 1978. He received recognition from the audience as well as other artists from the famous role of the station master played by him. He was a well-known name in the Vizag Theatre circles as he remained active until his last days in performing plays and skits with the artists of Vishakhapatnam. In addition to this, he had close relationships with the Vijayawada theatre and its artists as well. In 2017, he received an honor during the Comedy Drama Festival held at the Samadhura Kala Niketan A few days before his death, he was preparing to perform at a play at the Nandi Drama Festival at Kakinanda. He suffered from respiratory issues and was undergoing treatment during his final days. He died in March 2018. He is survived through his wife and two sons. His brother, Vnakalaya Tataji is the chairman of Shri Kanakamahalakshmi Devasthanam and has been organizing programs to encourage and promote theatre artists from Vishakhapatnam. Satyanarayana’s last rites were performed at the Hindu Kailasa Bhoomi in Vizag.

Priyadarshi Pulikonda is an Indian figure who has contributed some of his works to the film industry and has won several hearts with his performance in the movie PelliChoopulu.Priyadarshi’s family moved to Hyderabad nearly three decades ago and had been staying in Hyderabad ever since. At present, they live in Chandanagar. His father is a Professor, and his mother is well qualified too. The artiste, who is nearly 28 years old, is from a middle-class family. He holds a postgraduate degree in Mass Communication from the University of Hyderabad. Priyadarshi also has a sister who is a Lieutenant in Navy. Priyadarshi is someone who believes in challenging himself. Sagara Sangamam was the turning point in Priyadarshi’s life, as it was a movie which urged and inspired him to become an actor at a very young age of 7. He has also taken classes conducted by Aruna Bhikshu. His sources of inspiration in acting are Kamal Hassan, Kota Srinivasa Rao, SVR, Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, Rao Gopal Rao, Santhanam, Savithri, Rao Ramesh, and Vivek. Apart from that, he is a big fan of Kamal Hassan and Chiranjeevi. He respects and highly values the relationships in his life and believes that they are his wealth.Priyadarshi’s family, friends, and teachers have been very supportive all the time and have never demoralized him. He wishes to discover and venture different roles in acting as he finds it monotonous to play the same kind of character. Besides, he desires to be versatile.Also, he is fond of traveling and reading. As mentioned earlier, he has contributed some of his works to the film industry. The first step towards the silver screen was officially taken by him in 2012 as the director, writer, editor and producer of Ponnu-Vaadu which was a short film. In 2013, he played the role of the character ‘Hari’ in Machan EnakuIniki Kalyanam, a short film in which he was the production manager as well. In the same year, he wrote, directed and also acted in another short film – The Delivery. He has also been a screenplay assistant of a short film – AtleastoruMutham in the year 2014. Priyadarshi made an appearance for the first time on big screen with a movie which released in 2016 – Terror. He gained much fame by playing Kaushik in the flick Pelli Choopulu in 2016. It was a breakthrough for him, and it set a benchmark. He made a place for himself in the industry with this movie and the role played by him was one of his notable works. He also played the role of Ramanna in the film Bommala Ramaram in the same year. His movie Mister has been recently released and he is working on Spyder now. The movie Pelli Choopulu won two National Awards for Best Dialogues and Best Picture. On day 2 of IIFA Utsavam 2017,PriyadarshiPulikonda bagged an award for Best Comic Role in Pelli Choopulu. In an interview conducted by NTV, Priyadarshi had an open chat with the host where he shared quite many things about himself. To put it in a nutshell, he said - Definitely, there are certain loopholes in the film industry, but there is always space for talent. He had good support from his family, pals and teachers.
