Thatavarthi Kiran is an Indian writer who works predominately in the Telugu movie industry. He is best known for his works in the movie Mehbooba (2018) and Nakshatram (2017). Kiran is born and brought up in Hyderabad, India. He completed his higher education at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Kiran completed his graduation at DNR College. He currently lives in Hyderabad. Other than Telugu, he knows Hindi and English language. He started his writing career with the movie Nakshatram.
Kiran wrote dialogues for the movie. In 2018, he co-wrote the story of Mehbooba along with the director PuriJagan. In 2019, he wrote of the story of Where Is The Venkata Lakshmi. It is a Comedy Horror movie which starred Laxmi Raai in the lead. He is currently part of Vijay Deverakonda's first direct Hindy film.
