Tillu Square To Stream On This OTT Platform

Following its blockbuster run at the box office, ‘Tillu Square’ has secured an OTT platform.

According to the latest reports, the film is all set for an OTT release on Netflix by 26 April. The movie will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and even Hindi.

‘Tillu Square’ is the sequel to ‘DJ Tillu’, which stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. The dark comedy surprised both the critics and the audiences, making more than 120 crores worldwide over a low budget of 20 crores. The movie had withstood the challenge posed by Bollywood film ‘Crew’, and Hollywood film ‘Godzilla x Kong’.

However, that’s not all. ‘Tillu Square’ also promised an extension of the franchise with ‘Tillu Cube’ within the movie itself. Given the impressive performance of the movie, it is needless to say the third installment will come sooner than later.

‘Tillu Square’ is one of the few big successes that Telugu cinema has seen in the first quarter. The only other movie to have crossed 100 crores was the Prashanth Varma directed ‘Hanu Man’. Others managed to become like ‘Om Bheem Bush’, ‘Gaami’, ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’, etc. However, they didn’t exactly hit bullseye at the box office!
