’ will be released on 17 May. However, she is not alone. This film will clash with ‘Gangs of Godavari’, which stars Vishwak Sen in the lead role.
‘Satyabhama’ is a cop drama, where Kajal Aggarwal plays the role of a stubborn cop, who decides to crack a case against all odds. On the other hand, ‘Gangs of Godavari’ is an out and out gangster drama, which focuses on a man’s rise from rags to riches. The film was to initially release in April, but it was ultimately postponed to mid May.
2024 had started on a promising note for Telugu cinema, with ‘Hanu Man’ outshining others. However, since then, only ‘Tillu Square’ has managed to give some competition to the movie, and keep the box office alive. While films like ‘Gaami’, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ attempted to do something innovative, it did not break any box office records.
Vishwak Sen aims to solidify his reputation with ‘Gangs of Godavari’. On the other hand, Kajal aims to get back on track with ‘Satyabhama’.
