Director Madan

Director Madan’s full name is Ramigani Madan Mohan Reddy. He is also known as R. R. Madan or simply Madan. He was an Indian Telugu film writer, director, and producer. Director Madan was born in Madanpalli city in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. After completing his school education, he finished his graduation from Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati, at Annie Besant Theosophical College, Madanpalli. During his college days, Director Madan used to write short stories and direct play-lets.

Later, he moved to Hyderabad with his passion for movies, where the regional film industry in Telugu language is located. Director Madan did a couple of serials on social awareness for HRD. He also did docu-dramas. Director Madan began his film career as an assistant cameraman. Therefore, he worked as an assistant cameraman for two years under Mr. S. Gopal Reddy, the famous cinematographer, screenwriter, director, and producer. Later, he worked as a co-writer for some Tollywood films. He is considered among the promising script writers and directors in the Telugu Film Industry for his innovative subjects, creative thinking, and intellectual content.

In 2013, Director Madan wrote and produced an Indian Kannada-language film, “Coffee with My Wife,” directed by Vidyasagar.
