P. L. Narayana is a prominent Indian dialogue writer and playwright-turned-film actor, who predominantly works in the Telugu and Tamil cinema. He was born as Lakshmi Narayana on September 10, 1935, in Bapatla, India. He used to be a playwright and stage actor before he started acting on the silver screen. Narayana appeared in character roles in most of his films and usually portrayed the role of a downtrodden person or a person in distress.
