Umashankar Chigurupati is an Indian cinematographer. He works in the Telugu Film and TV industry. He is popularly known as a cinematographer for the TV series Bhagyarekha which aired from 2019 to 2021. The show spanned more than 600 episodes. The series is about how the lives of three strong women, Siri, Sunanda and Chittemma, get entwined with each other's lives. It stars Ragha Madhuri, Nalini and Maneesh. The show ran for over a period of two years. The soap opera was directed by V. Sasibhushan and aired on Gemini TV. It is said to be a remake of the Tamil TV show Nayaki.
