Prasanthi is a famous Telugu anchor and model. She is known for her interviews with TV anchors. Her turn towards anchoring was unexpected. Prasanthi’s parents are highly well educated and they want Prasanthi to become a good literate and settle her life. But when she was doing her graduation she was seen by a director who is a friend of Prasanthi’s lecturer. The director encouraged Prasanthi to opt anchoring as her career as he was highly impressed by her photogenic face. Though Prasanthi was interested in the deal she was not sure whether her parents would help her in achieving her goal. As expected, her parents did not like her entering the silver screen. They were in a false prejudice that her daughter will not be married at all if she entered films. Later Prasanthi’s lecturer convinced her parents on behalf of Prasanthi. Then she debuted with the TV show Siniranjani aired on ETV. When Prasanthi’s parents saw her on the TV screen they encouraged her to continue with anchoring. She dealt many big reality shows like Shrimathi Bhagyasree, Andhravala, Manoranjani, etc., Every show was a huge success. With her fame through anchoring she also got chances to films as Heroine but her father rejected them. She has interviewed many biggies in South India like Kamal Hasan, , Chiranjeevi, etc., She is also doing many live shows in Gemini Music. Prasanthi has been doing several cookery shows which are telecasted afternoon daily. Prasanthi has done only one movie ‘’ with her father’s permission. She got good name with her acting.
