She was born on 18th September 1990 in Secunderabad, Telangana. She comes from a Sindhi family. She was born to parents Manoj Kumar Manoj Kumar, aka Manoharan, was born on September >> Read More... and Rekha Gouhrani. Jeetu Gouhrani is her sibling. She did her schooling from St. Albans High School, Hyderabad. She went to London to pursue an MBA in Finance course. Gouhrani won Miss Hyderabad title in 2008. She became Miss Andhra Pradesh in 2010. She has won many other beauty contests including Miss Pantaloons Fresh Face of Andhra Pradesh in 2009 and Miss Beautiful Eyes of Andhra Pradesh in 2010.

After having a successful modelling career, she went on to pursue a career in acting. Gouhrani has worked in films of diverse genre. She has done films in different languages. She has acted in Family Pack which is a Hindi film. She did some Telugu movies including Maaya and Mosagallaku Mosagaadu. She did a role in the Bollywood film Log In. The film released in 2012.
