Vijaya Rangaraju is an Indian film actor, television celeb, theatre artist, and entrepreneur born in the 1950s in Pune, Maharashtra, to Jankiramaya and Jagdeeshwari. Even though he was born and brought up in Maharashtra, he has mostly worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada film industries. In 2025, Vijaya Rangaraju was shooting for his Telugu film in Hyderabad. As he was injured during the shoot, he returned to Chennai. He was admitted to the Government hospital in Chennai. After a one-week stay at the hospital and getting treatment for the injury, he passed away on 20th January 2025 due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
