Vangara Venkata Subbaiah

Vangara Venkata Subbaiah, or simply Vangara, was an incredible actor of Indian origin. He was a renowned name in the world of Telugu cinema. He was born in the year 1897. He captivated audiences with his performances in over 100 films and numerous stage plays throughout his career. His journey began in Sangam Jagarlamudi, near Tenali, where he realized about his inclination towards acting at the young age of four. He started off with a play called Chitranalineeyam in 1901. Before fully immersing himself in acting, he also worked as a teacher. But his true calling was on the stage.
