Naidu Gopi Telugu Actor
Naidu Gopi is better known to Telugu people as a stage artist rather than a film artist. He is one of the famous stage artists in South India. He was born in Yendrai village of Amaravathi mandal to a farmer family. He established a foundation named Gangothri in 1990. His main idea behind Gangothri is to develop acting skills in village youth. He was very passionate about acting since his childhood. He acted in a skit called Sanyasam in his childhood. He usually says that the skit in his childhood has taught him basics in acting. He made his acting debut in 1981 with the stage performance ‘Dear Audience and Sincere Leaver’ written by Isukapalli Mohana Rao. He followed the footsteps of his teacher Guntur Sasthri. His notable performances can be seen in the skits , Tharjana, Dahati Maanasam. He acted as an un-employed youth character in Tharjana and he got state award in 1984 for the performance. Apart from the above performances he acted in some more skits like Nishiddakshari, Manasa Sarovaram through his association Gangothri. In movies he is famous for father roles. He acted in few movies like Seshadri Naidu, Mahatma, Nenunnanu, etc.,. He acted as a paralyzed father for Sreya in Nenunnanu and as lawyer in Mahatma.
