Singer Srikanth

Being an Indian singer, Srikanth Hariharan has served in various Telugu movies. He has completed his studies regarding Sound Engineer and Music Direction at Mox Media Academy. Srikanth has the genes of singing, which came from his mother, who was a classical music vocalist and playback singer.

Her sister is also a singer, percussionist, and lyricist. He started his journey by participating in one of the reality shows named Super Singer Season-6, and being a finalist of that show, he gained a number of fans. The song of Rowdy which, was sung by Srikanth, gained a lot of popularity, hitting the theatres in 2014. He has also achieved a chance to sing under A.R.Rahman’s direction. “Sir was not there, and I recorded the song thinking that it was to test my voice or to sing the track. Lyricist Vivek and Atlee sir were there with me, and they were very impressed.

I was called again to record the track. It was a surreal moment because I sang the song with sir sitting next to me. He was sweet and supportive”, said Srikanth after recording his song in Rahaman’s studio for the first time. He has also worked with Shreya Ghosal for the movie Imman as a duet. Nowadays Srikanth is settled in Chennai and is learning Carnatic music.
