Pakir Mohan, born Pakirthan Kalamohan, is a singer, lyricist, cum composer from Sri Lanka. He was born on 2nd May. Pakir was brought up in Jaffna. His parents are Kalamohan and Shanthini. Pakir has a younger brother, Thilakshan Mohan. Pakir went to St. John's College, Jaffna. Pakir studied Civil Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University. He is settled in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Pakir has been married to Mithusha since 2024.
Pakir has sung cover versions for various Tamil and Sinhala songs. His first Sinhala song debut is with Mihire Mage. It was released in 2021. He made an anthem, Ade Machan, for Jaffna Kings, a team in the Lanka Premier League. The same year, he crooned Depasaka Thaniwee, a Sinhala Single. The next year, he sang Miyadunu Aaley. The same year, he sang a Tamil single Ithu Varayil. The single video featured Janani. In 2024, he crooned for a music video, Intha Nodi, which was also penned by him. The music was composed by Pathmayan Sivananthan.
Kaalaipani, Loveculator, Tik Tok Penne, My Angel, Lelena, and Keep My Heart are some of his songs in Tamil and Sinhala. He tried the cover version of Oke Oka Lokam from the 2021 Telugu film “Sashi” with Tamil and Sinhala lyrics mixed. Gayani Mendis penned the Sinhala lyrics, and Pakir penned the Tamil lyrics. Sara Basheer and Pirathees Theventhiran appeared in the music video.
