Badri Venkatesh is a talented, hard-working, vibrant Indian Tamil and Malayalam film director. The particular contributions of the talented director and writer came in the Tamil movies. He was conceived on 2 May 1974 in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. He is an Indian Film Screen Writer and director. He has worked dominantly worked in Tamil Film industry and keeps coming up with some gratifying work. He is the father of one of the most famous producers of Tamil movies, namely Baana Kaathadi, which was his debut film in the year 2010.

He is an Indian film director and TV professional with more than 17 years work experience in film writing, film direction, television fiction writing, event direction, reality show direction, creative management, novel writing, cinematic teaching, film making, and short fiction film making. His latest project, Semma Botha Agatha (2016), watches him returning to work with Atharvaa Murali, the actor whom he launched in his debut film. He is a talented creative producer and still has got a lot in him to justify. Venkatesh won the National award for making a short film, namely Vidyalaya Nokki, that is also his first Tamil short fiction film to win this accolade.
