Arvind Ramalingam

Arvind Ramalingam is an Indian film director who works predominantly in the Tamil Industry. His film making has been loved by his audience to a great extent. Apart from being a Tamil film director, he is also an advertising professional. He was born and brought up in Coimbatore and later moved to Chennai for his higher studies. Talking about his career, he made his debut with the film Karma which was a blockbuster and then became a nomination in the film festivals across the world. This was one of his great hits and most loved by his audience. Since he was born in Coimbatore, he did his primary education from Coimbatore itself. Later he moved to Chennai to be trained in graphic designing.

After working with various top advertising agencies in Chennai he decided to start his own venture TCC in 2009, which was a full-fledged creative agency. He shooted for his first film Karma 2015, in which he played multiple roles. He directed, produced and acted in the film, which was an innovative and experimental film in the Crime-Thriller genre. He played a double role, which were the only two characters who appeared on screen throughout the length of the movie. He went on to be nominated for Best Director of a Foreign Language Feature Film at the Madrid International Film Festival, 2016. Karma was a huge success in his career and made him gain a huge fan following and love for his films.
