Joy Crizildaa was born on the 25th of August in 1988. Joy’s birthplace is Chennai, India. Joy started her career as a film director in the South Indian Film Industry. At present, she is the founder of a Fashion Designing company called Signature. The company was founded in the year 2014. After completing her schooling, she moved to Chennai to pursue Visual Communications. During her study, she was an intern in the Star TV and even became a producer of the programs in the channel Captain TV. She worked under the direction of S. Anton. While working as a producer, she felt that her future lies in fashion designing.

Joy was interested in designing, and so she decided to take up the profession. She shifted to Bangalore to complete a course in Fashion Designing, and hence she became a fashion designer professionally. Joy initially started her career as a film director. She had done Visual Communications, and so Direction was not difficult for her. But she could not taste success with the few films that she released. They did not receive good response and Joy understood that being a director would not give her fame or money. She shifted her attention to fashion designing. Her first film as a fashion designer was Rajanthiram. The costumes designed by her were greatly appreciated.

The next movie that she signed after Rajanthiram was Jilla. The lead actor of the movie was Vijay, who is a heartthrob in the South. After designing clothes for him, she is now one of the most demanding Fashion Designer in the South Indian Film Industry. Joy has been working for the most successful and famous actors and actresses in the South. Actors like J. Ravi, V. Vishal, Atharvaa and much more have all wore her clothes. Joy designed clothes for the actress L. Menon in the film Miruthan. She has signed many movies between 2016 and 2017.

One of her most successful designing was in the movie Darling. 2015 was the year when Darling was released. The lead actor in the movie was G. V. Prakash and the actress was N. Gairani. She designed T-shirts, Jeans, Frocks, Skirts and many other costumes for them. Her recently signed movie named Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran stars actress N. Gairani. This will be the first time that viewers will see the actress in a saree and Joy is very lucky to get the job of designing it.

An Indian Fashion Designer, Erum Ali was born on August 8, 1975. She has worked in Bollywood for more than sixteen years. She began her career with the Chennai's film Industry designing clothes for Abbas Ali in his movies and later married him. The couple has two children. She has emerged a new face in the Chennai Fashion Industry primarily from 2001. She has designed clothes for Abbas for his films with local Cinematic Industries of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Erum has worked as a Chief Designer for the Adventure- fiction film, Aayirathil Oruvan. Erum Ali is described to be a fun-loving woman by nature. She says that their marriage alliance was finalized in youth years. Hence, their bond has become stronger with time. She adds that initially, she faced problems as she couldn’t get along well with Abbas friend zone now she has adjusted well. She adds that being a wife of a film Star can be very trying as it demands one to be active all the time, may it be handling fixed appointments, throwing parties or meeting and tying up with director's, writers and top producers of the Industry. She also states that the profession can introspect one's privacy. Also, dealing with die-hard fans is a very tough matter as they get down to writing their ideas with blood and stuff which seems to be irritating at times, but one has to deal with it without any choice. She adds the fact that shooting sometimes takes a toll, and there's no time left to spend with family. However, Abbas is one person who understands this and takes her along when shoots are abroad allowing the couple to have a great holiday. She says that she is one lucky girl to get such a loving husband. Her husband Abbas compliments her saying that she possesses all qualities required to become a good wife. Abbas has confessed regarding his previous affairs with other ladies and she feels absolutely no harm but again warns him of not having any in the future. Tamil Selvan

Tamil Selvan is an Indian fashion designer who is currently working in the Tamil cinema industry. Selvan belongs to a middle-class family where his father works as a tailor. Tamil Selvan did his schooling at Emmanuel Methodist Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai. Selvan knew that his interest lied in the world of fashion. So, Selvan took admission at the prestigious National School of Design where the youngster enrolled his name in the fashion course. After he had finished his higher education, Selvan decided to become an entrepreneur and launched “Gorgeous Me,” his boutique. Selvan started to participate in different fashion shows and events where he designed costumes of the models for a ramp walk display. His works got acclaimed from a couple of fashionistas, and Selvan received offers to prepare outfits for the celebrities. Finally, Selvan got his chance to work in his first Kollywood flick “Kappal” under S pictures. One of Shankar’s long-time assistants, Karthik G Krish directed this comedy feature. Vaibhav, Sonam Bajwa, and VTV Ganesh played important characters in this movie. Kappal released on 25th December 2014 in the festive season of Christmas, and it turned out to be an entertaining movie for the audience. Terming the flick as “enjoyable,” many critics praised Kappal for its simple script. Selvan who served as the film’s costume designer, suggested that working in Kappal was a delightful experience. In a press conference, Selvan told the reporters about the challenges faced during the preparation of attires for the film. Selvan considered the planning of a flower gown (made up of real florets) and chocolate dresses as the difficult part of the shoot. In fact, his family helped Tamil to design the required clothes for the sequence of Kadhal Casatta in this project. Selvan admitted that he got surprised to know that Shankar was the co-producer of Kappal. He felt happy about the fact that his debut big-screen venture would release under S pictures. Tamil Selvan acknowledged the team’s support to allow Selvan to work creatively. Sonam Bajwa praised the designer for his work and preferred his costumes to that of Bollywood ones. Selvan stated that his ancestors were tailors which helped him to learn the fundamentals of the art of tailoring. Selvan admitted to having fears of discrimination as he had a flawed command over English but everyone backed Selvan’s skills when he entered the industry. In 2015, Selvan joined the list of celebrities who helped the people living in the flood-affected areas.
