Smarabh Sriram is a Tamil language actor, writer, and stand-up comedian. He had attended Navadisha Montessori School, Abacus Montessori School, and Hindu Senior School, Chennai. After completing his intermediate education, he got admission to Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College in Bcom program, but after two years, he dropped out of the college. Being involved with music and theatre from a young age, he spent most of his time in rehearsals, practice sessions, and on the football ground. After that, he joined Trinity College London and completed his diploma in speech and drama. He loves playing football, and he had been associated with FC Madras (Mahogany Football Club) as a defensive midfielder for a very long time. He hosted the show ‘Pundit Tuesdays' with RJ Jane as a part of the comedy collective ‘The Pundits’ for 104.8FM. He is popularly known for his funny jokes and unique narration style and has been doing several shows in the city.
He worked as a guest lecturer for theatre at IIT Madras and as a part-time theater facilitator for APL Global School. He had also worked for Creashakthi as an Artistic Director and event coordinator. He wrote over 150 scripts for short plays, musicals, kids plays, screenplays and even coordinated over 150 events at different venues across the country. Sriram has acted in over 25 advertisements, played character roles in the movies like Taramani, Arasiyalla Idhellam Saadharanamappa and, 2.0, and played one of the lead roles in the web series Cookies and Kannamoochi. In 2019, he joined Eat Local as a marketing manager.
