Yuvina Parthavi

Yuvina was first known as a child actress in the AVM Productions television serial Uravukku Kai Koduppom. AVM is the only production company in South India, which has kept promoting only social drama that had a strong message to viewers. She was just two-and-a-half-year-old, when the director K. A. Bhuvanesh, used to flash the camera arc lights upon her face. But the child artiste would deliver any emotion with the good modulation.  She was totally fantastic as a child who was seen being reborn in the family (as shown in the serial). The director had spotted her in a tour, and he was so impressed with her astuteness that recommended her to A M Saravanan. The producer signed Yuvina for the project, and her electrifying screen presence clicked well with the audience and she became an outstanding child actress on the small screen. The success of the serial was totally due to her screen presence and acting skills. After the success of this serial, she also bagged many commercial advertisements for the small screen and became a household name.  She very young, but has established her presence as a child artiste with eight Tamil films. It is said that all her projects get finalized by her mother and father. Her performances in Ajith’s ‘Veeram’ and Suriya’s ‘Masss’ were well appreciated. She acted in a Kannada film Abhimanyu, a bilingual film directed by Arjun Sarja. She is acting in another Kannada film Mummy now. Although she may not know Kannada language, she delivers dialogue like a professional star just after two or three takes.  As she cannot get away from her lipsticks, the hero of Masss, used to address fondly her as Lipstick Rani. She acted with Suriya in Masss and had accompanied him to Europe. She also was an anchor for a dance based reality show - Dance Baby Dance - in Telugu, which got over by now. Due to her busy schedules she misses her classes in school very often. But she manages her studies too in between.  Though she is making her impression in movies when she grows up, she would like to be an astronaut. She played a full-length role in "Athithi" as a kidnapped child and also appeared in an action drama film "Jaihind 2".  Child artiste is very much beauty conscious on the sets and sees that her make-up and dress costume are always taken care by her hair-dressers and make-up artists. The general rule states that the TV and movie moppets don't grow up into famous adults, but who knows she may grow up as a versatile performer at a young age too. She was born in Mumbai in 2008.
