Thavasi Thevar was born in 1960 in India. He was a Tamil actor who gave his whole young life to the acting industry. Thavasi began working for the films in 2010. He has mostly given the elderly roles or the roles of father in the films. The first film for which he worked was Kalavani, a comedy film in which he played the role of Maheshwari’s father. The audiences so much praised the film that it further won three awards in supporting actress, debut director and best dialogues categories. He gave many other hit films. Annaatthe was his last film for which he had already completed his role before it was actually released in 2021 and before he was admitted to the hospital. Thavasi was admitted to the hospital because he was suffering because of long-term ongoing cancer issues. Thavasi died on 23rd November 2020 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
