Jagdish Khebudkar is an Indian lyricist who worked for the Marathi film industry. He was born on 10th May 1932 in the Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. When he was 16, he wrote his first poem in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948. The poem became so popular and it was also aired on All India Radio and Doordarshan. He wrote songs in different genres like romantic, devotional, religious, and lavanis in Marathi cinemas.
Some of his popular work in films includes Bara Varshe Mahine 3 Diwas in 1967, Don Baika Phajeeti Aika in 1982, Astharoopa Jai Vaibhavlakshmi Maata in 2008, and many others.
