Abhay Imamdar is a famous lyricist, screenplay, and dialogue writer, and freelance copywriter in the Marathi film industry. Abhay Imamdar hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra, and started working in the advertising industry. He got his Bachelor’s in Physics from Savitribai Phule University and earned his MBA in Marketing from the same university.

In July 2003, Abhay Imamdar started working as a marketing coordinator at Indus Health Plus Private Limited. He worked as a market consultant by developing brochures, posters, pamphlets, business presentations, magazines, and CD’s. He also translated content from Marathi to Hindi and vice-versa and also worked to develop several English-language articles for medium-sized companies in Pune. Abhay Imamdar also worked as a lecturer and taught management subjects for several self-help groups in Pune.

In May 2007, he became the senior executive of corporate communications at Kolsite Group of Companies, a manufacturing company in Pune, by working in advertising and promoting the company. In July 2010, Abhay Imamdar worked as a Deputy Manager of Marketing Communication at Suzlon Energy Private Limited by working with branding, advertising, corporate communication, event management, and PR activities for the company. In October 2015, Abhay Imamdar worked in the Marathi film and advertisement industry as a freelance writer by working for several radio jingles, advertisements, feature films, and songs.

Over the years, he has penned lyrics for some film songs like Dhangar, and Gondhal and worked in the 2014 film-Priyatama. Abhay Imamdar is very active on social media and often posts several updates about his writing career and personal life. On the personal front, Abhay Imamdar lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for his career prospects.
