He had sung for about eight movies and in many theatre shows. One of his most famous songs is Engane Nee Marakkam Kuyile from the film Neelakuyil which was released in the year 1954. Kozhikode Abdul Kader was born on 19th of July as Lesli Andrews in the year 1915 to L. S. Andrews and Manini. When he was very young, his mother passed away. Kozhikode Abdul Kader converted his religion to Islam and changed his name to Abdul Kader when he ended up in Burma. Because of this conversion, Kozhikode Abdul Kader's father disowned him. A policeman named Kunju Muhammed then supported Kozhikode Abdul Kader. This policeman has also adopted another human.
