Ajay Gullu

Ajay Gullu Joseph is a singer, Tabla player, music producer, and DJ based in Ernakulam, Kerala. He has studied Bachelor’s in Indian Music at the Madras University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Thereafter, he completed a Master’s degree in Indian Music with first division from Madras University, Chennai. He has also done a Master of Philosophy in Music at the Music and Fine Arts University, Chennai. In his school days, he learned Hindustani Music from Gaandharva Maha Vidyalaya, Pune, Maharashtra. Ajay has also received training in various musical instruments such as Violin, Tabla, and Mridangam under the guidance of several Gurus, such as Shri. Palghat Rajamani, Shri. Vijay Senan, Pandit Rajendra Kumar, etc.

Ajay’s talent and skills have earned him various awards, and he won various national and international musical competitions such as the Interschool (CBSE) Competition in Tabla and Light Music with A grade, Jaya Star Singers Season 1, Kuyil Thoppu Season 8, Live Singing Reality Show on Doordarshan Chennai (Podhigai TV). He was also a popular contestant on season 6 of Idea Star Singer and a finalist on Voice of Goodness. Moreover, he is highly skilled in Singing, Integrated Marketing, Music Theory, Orchestral Music, Studio Recording, Songwriting, etc. Besides, Ajay also fights for social causes such as Arts, Culture, Education, and Health.
