Praveen Eravankara is a well-known writer from the Malayalam film industry. He has 18 years of experience in Visual Media as a Scriptwriter. He also worked as Content and Programme Head in Athmeeya Yathra Television. Praveen has written scripts for Mega serials like Mattoruval, Pavakoothu, Vigraham, Mangalyam, Mohachakram, Agnihotrama, and many more. He has documented stories for the films Athithimandiram and Snehayanam, directed by K. G George.
His famous books are the short stories Meerapuriyil Ippozhum Mazha Pay Yarundu, Novel Daivam Engane Okke Vicharikkunnu, Storybook Kanalppadukal, and the novel Eee Number Ippol Thirakkilanu. Praveen also received several awards for his work. He obtained the Telestyle Award in 2003 for the serial Pavakoothu, the Millenium Award in 2008 for the serial Salabhakazcha, and the Views World Award in 2010 for the serial Mattoruval. He also remains the State executive member of Samskara Sahithi (KPCC), Secretary of Television Fraternity (Athma), State Television Award Jury Member in 2005, and Executive Member of AR Smarakom under the Kerala Government (2001 – 2006).
