K Ravindranathan Nair is an Indian producer who worked for the Malayalam film industry. He was born in 1932 in Kollam, Kerala. Nair is a multi-talented producer, industrialist, and philanthropist who worked in more than 10 South Indian movies. He was born in a rich family who has a business in cashew production and export.
His interest in literature bought him to Malayalam cinemas and in 1967, he established General Pictures under which he produced his first films Anweshichu Kandethiyilla. Some of the movies in which he worked are Achani in 1973, Manju in 1982, Thampu in 1978, Anantaram in 1987, and many others.
